Sarah is currently accepting clarinet and saxophone students of all ages and levels into her San Francisco based studio.

When I was a young student, music gave me a purpose. It helped to guide me during my most malleable years and taught me discipline, patience, beauty, joy, community, and most importantly passion. I strive, above all, to bring these qualities to each and every student, no matter the age or level, through my role as a teacher. I truly believe that anyone at any time is capable of learning the joys of playing a musical instrument!

Music serves a unique purpose in each individual’s life and lessons will be catered around this understanding. Each and every person has a distinctive reason for taking music lessons, and it my duty as a teacher to understand this. I work with my students on an individual level to build a plan around their needs and goals.
